Skiing

For 18 years, the ski expeditions of Tikvot Association for IDF wounded and terror victims have been a space of confrontation, not escape. The encounter with the snowy mountain invites the body and soul to be present, to feel, and to move again within a challenging yet safe reality. Skiing is not a vacation - it is a process of connecting to the body, to ability, and to the moment when it becomes possible again to trust yourself.

Triathlon Training

In the transition from injury to athletic challenge, a new path is born. Through training and professional guidance, participants embark on a gradual journey where body and soul learn to work together again. This is a process that is not about breaking boundaries by force, but about renewed acquaintance with ability, at a personal pace, and building trust along the way.

The program develops endurance, discipline and mental strength, but above all it empowers through perseverance, faith and collaborative work. Progress is not measured only in athletic achievements, but in the ability to sustain effort, cope with difficulty and feel belonging - a reminder that true strength is built slowly, from within

Gym and Fitness Training

For many Tikvot participants, entering the gym is a significant step far beyond physical training. This is a space where gradual return to body control, sense of capability and building a new identity within a changed reality becomes possible. Physical work is not disconnected from the soul, but serves as a daily anchor of stability, perseverance and self-connection.

Through personalized training, we accompany participants in a process aimed at strengthening both physical and mental well-being. Every movement, repetition and small progress contribute to building renewed self-confidence and the feeling that the body can be a source of strength - not just injury

Horse Therapy

Equine-assisted therapy helps post-trauma victims through nervous system regulation, gentle body connection and creating a sense of security that is non-verbal. The rhythmic movement of the horse calms tension and anxiety, enables 'here and now' presence and restores a sense of control.
The connection with the horse is a non-judgmental relationship, based on response to emotion rather than words, thus creating a safe space for trust, strengthening sense of capability and a corrective experience of influence, leadership and existence.

Go-Karting

The go-karting experience offers a precise encounter with movement, concentration and control, adapted to the physical and emotional needs of participants. For IDF wounded and terror victims, these are not just hours of respite from rehabilitation routine, but a space where body and soul meet again within a safe and defined challenge. The track demands full presence, real-time decision making and attention to self and environment.

Special Programs for Specific Populations

Beyond general programs, we offer dedicated programs tailored to the specific needs of different groups:

Program for Reserve Soldiers

A special program for reserve soldiers dealing with physical and mental challenges after long service periods. The program includes group sports activities, stress management and coping workshops, and community support.

We understand the unique challenges of reserve soldiers - the transition between civilian life and service, the difficulty of reintegrating after extended service periods, and the need for ongoing support. Our program provides a comprehensive response to all these needs.

Program for October 7th Event Victims

A special rehabilitation program developed specifically for October 7th event victims. The program provides emotional support, personalized rehabilitation activities, complementary therapies and a supportive community of people who have experienced similar experiences.

We understand that the experiences endured by victims of these difficult events require a sensitive, professional and personally tailored approach. Our team has undergone special training and works in collaboration with professional bodies to provide the best possible response.

Program for Terror Attack Victims

A comprehensive program for terror attack victims including physical and mental rehabilitation, complementary therapies such as horse therapy, adapted sports activities and family support. We accompany participants at every stage of the recovery process and provide long-term support.

Terror victims face unique challenges - physical and mental trauma, difficulties in daily functioning, fears and anxieties. Our program focuses on building resilience, restoring sense of control and security, and creating a supportive community.

Family Support

We understand that family is an integral part of the rehabilitation process. Therefore, we offer support programs for family members of our participants as well. Workshops, support groups and joint family activities help families cope with challenges and support their loved ones in the best way possible.
